What you shouldn’t do
When you walk on an exploration it is strictly forbidden :
- to cross a double railroad
- to cross rivers that are more than 2’ deep
You should always avoid roads with a lot of traffic. If there’s no other way then walk in a line on the left side of the road.
At night
When you walk at night :
- Always stay in a group on the left side of the road
- Use a lamp at the front and at the rear of the patrol
- If possible use reflective jackets
The look on scouts
Scouts can be spotted very easily and often awake people’s curiosity, therefore :
- Always wear a perfect uniform
- Always be polite and go unnoticed, especially when you are crossing a town.
- Respect plants and private properties
- Do not spread all over the road and say that you will be "spotted more easily" that way
- Do not leave anything behind you except for kind regards and thanks
