The material you will need

• A paint for fabric.
• A paint brush.
• felt-tip pens for fabric. Choose the two colours of your neckerchief.
• A black ball-point pen
• Some water and a water pot
• An iron (requires an adult’s assistance)
• Tissue paper or greaseproof paper

Painting

1. Print the attached picture and enlarge it to an A3 size with a copier.
You can also draw your own model according to the animal you want to draw.
Cut the outside of your model and the inside of the eyes. You now have a pattern.

2.Put the pattern on one of the corners of the flysheet and draw the shape with the ball-point pen.

3. Draw the inside of the animal the colour of your choice with fabric paint. (you can mix some colours if you want).

4. Iron your painting with tissue or greaseproof paper over it for about 3 minutes (according to the recommendations of your paint). That way you will fix the paint to the fabric.
The paint will resist to rain

5. A hint : Hand draw a semi circle over your picture and write the name of your troop and patrol with your neckerchief’s colours.
